In India’s total milk production, dairy co-operative procures around 9.2 million tonnes of milk with the steady growth rate of 9.7%. This indicates, co-operative sector’s contribution is around 8-9 % of total milk production. Presently organized dairy sectors contributes about 18-20 %, where as rest have contributed by unorganized Sector.
