To arrive at the objectives, three stage sampling technique was used. The data related to the period of 2002 to 2006 were collected from the selected eight SHGs i.e. four male SHGs and four female SHGs and 128 respondents i.e. 64 beneficiaries and 64 non-beneficiaries spread over two talukas viz. Ghoghamba and Lunavada of Panchmahal district by survey method using interview schedule.
