The experimental material comprised of three male sterile lines used as female parents, fifteen genotypes used as male parents, 45 F1s were developed in a Line x tester fashion and one standard check hybrid (GFSH 1). Fourteen characters in these sixty four entries were studied in a randomized block design with three replications at Main Forage Research Station, A.A.U., Anand during kharif of the year 2012, with the objectives to obtain information on heterosis and combining ability study in forage sorghum.
