The results revealed that the total viable and coliform count were significantly lower in Modied atmospheric packaging (MAP) than vacuum and aerobic packaging. There was no signi cant difference in lactic acid bacteria between different packaging methods; however vacuum packaging had higher counts than other methods. Streptococcal, Staphylococcal, Lactobacillus, Anaerobic, yeast and mould counts differed significantly between storage periods. The ndings revealed that chevon could be preserved safely up to twenty one days in MAP and fourteen days in aerobic and vaccum packaging.en-USGoatEffect of Different Packaging Methods on Microbial Quality of ChevonTNV_IVJ_V94_I02_Y2017_M02_Pg31-33Article
