The results revealed that the total viable and coliform count were significantly lower in Modied atmospheric packaging (MAP) than vacuum and aerobic packaging. There was no signi cant difference in lactic acid bacteria between different packaging methods; however vacuum packaging had higher counts than other methods. Streptococcal, Staphylococcal, Lactobacillus, Anaerobic, yeast and mould counts differed significantly between storage periods. The ndings revealed that chevon could be preserved safely up to twenty one days in MAP and fourteen days in aerobic and vaccum packaging.en-USGoatEffect of Different Packaging Methods on Microbial Quality of ChevonTNV_IVJ_V94_I02_Y2017_M02_Pg31-33Article
