It is being widely used for the protection of vegetables and fruits due to its activity against lepidopterans and aphids. As this insecticide is in use as crop protectant, it is likely to cause indirect exposure in animals through contamination of feed, soil and ground water. Herbal plants are believed to promote positive health and maintain organic resistance against infection by reestablishing the body's equilibrium and conditioning the body tissues and cause immunomodulation. Among various plants causing immunomodulation, Tinospora cordifolia (Guduchi) is important one. Present study was planned to know the toxic effect of acephate on immune system and reversal effect of Tinospora cordifolia on acephate induced immunotoxicity in miceenVeterinary PharmacologyStudySTUDY ON ACEPHATE INDUCED IMMUNOTOXICITY AND ITS REVERSAL BY AQUEOUS EXTRACT OF TINOSPORA CORDIFOLIA STEM IN MICEThesis
