There was a significant rise in plasma alkaline phosphatase level during the period of force moulting and a fall at the end of moulting period with a gradual increase just before laying. The plasma calcium and inorganic phosphorus decreased significantly during force moult period and reached the premoult level at the time of on set of laying.en-USVeterinary Physiology / Physiology and BiochemistryPlasma calciumInorganic phosphorusAlkaline phosphataseForce-moultingChanges in the Plasma Calcium, Inorganic Phosphorus and Alkaline Phosphatase Activity During Different Periods of Force-MoultingCheiron Vol.14 Iss.06 Pg.311-314Article
