Each genotype was represented by accommodating eight plants in single plot with inter and intra row spaced at 90 cm × 75 cm distance, respectively. Observations were recorded on three randomly selected plants for the characters viz., fruit yield per plant, plant height, number of branches per plant, number of fruits per plant, fruit length, fruit girth, fruit weight, total phenol, moisture content, total soluble sugars and total soluble solids. However, days to 50 per cent flowering was recorded on plot basis.en-USnullGENETIC VARIATION ASSESSMENT, CHARACTER ASSOCIATION AND PATH COEFFICIENT ANALYSIS IN BRINJAL [Solanum melongena L.]Thesis
