It is an irrigated crop in Guajrat. Since water requirement of mustard is low, whereas out of all the essential nutrients nitrogen is one of express importance. With a view to have in sight on the optimum irrigation intervals: coupled with nitrogen and phosphorus levels, for mustard variety ‘Varuna’, the present study was conducted. A field experiment was laidout at B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand during rabi season 1978-79. The treatments included in this study consisted of three levels of irrigation viz., irrigation at an interval of 15 days (I1), 25 days (I2) and 35 days (I3); and for fertilizer treatments, three levels of nitrogen (0, 50 and 75 kg N per hectare) and two levels of phosphorus (0 and 50 kg P2O5 per hectare).enAGRONOMY, AGRICULTUREA STUDYThesis
