Clinical study on extracapsular cataract extraction with intraocular lens implantation was conducted on 14 eyes of 13 dogs with mature cataract selected. Of 34 dogs presented with history of visual impairment due to cataract. Out of 34 dogs the incidence of cataract was higher in Spitz, and females were affected more than males.
