Oculo-nasal swabs or tissue samples from PPR-suspected outbreaks were collected during September 2014 to January 2016 from different places. A total of 59 samples were collected, of which 48 samples were confirmed by PPRV ‘M' gene based RT-PCR. Five complete genomes of PPRV were sequenced.enVeterinary ScienceUNDERSTANDING DIFFERENTIAL HOST DISEASE RESISTANCE TO PESTE DES PETITS RUMINANTS (PPR) IN SMALL AND LARGE RUMINANTSThesis
