The following new insecticides viz. Endosulfan 0.053%, pirimicarb 0.15%, phenthoate 0.1%, fenvalerate 0.01%, UC 51762 0.15%, methamidophos 0.12%, etrimfos 0.05%, quinal phos 0.05%, phoxim 0.075%, acephate 0.08%, monocrotophos 0.04%, phosalone 0.053%, trichlorfon 0.05%, carbaryl 0.1% and chlorpyriphos 0.04% were screened for their efficacy against S. litura.
