An attempt has been made to assess the efficacy of cow urine – herbal preparation. The study was carried out in three different seasons of the year in pig fattener facilities, farrowing pen and dairy units in an organised farm. Cow urine was used as a base material in this case. The efficacy of the disinfection was found out by dilution method. The action of cow urine based preparation was highly significant (P<0.01) in all livestock sheds. The seasonal effect of the disinfectant may be due to the influence of temperature, humidity (both absolute and relative), sunlight exposure and even atmospheric pollutants.en-USVeterinary ScienceLivestock Production and ManagementFloor Cleaning Effect of Herbal Mixture in Cattle and Pig ShedsIndian Veterinary JournalArticle
