It was conducted in Namakkal district belonging to Northwestern zone of Tamil Nadu. Data was collected from 325 livestock farmers through pretested interview schedule and participatory rural appraisal method. Gender participation and decision making were analysed using frequency distribution, percentile and chi-square test.
