The activity of preparing a wide range of handloom products was originated to suffice local needs but it gradually took a turn towards commercialization.The present study entitled “Marketing Structure and Income Generating Avenues of Kinnauri Handloom Products (A study of Reckong peo, Headquarter ofKinnaurHP)”was​carriedoutwiththehelpofstructuredquestionnaireand60 weavers were selected as respondents. The objectives ofthestudyweretofindoutthecontributionofKinnauri handloom products in the income of the villagers, changesincorporatedinhandloomproductsaspertherecent trends, marketing channels used forthesaleofproductsanddifficultiesfacedbytheweaversinmarketingtheir products. The analysis of data was done by using percentage method, mean analysis, toderivetheresults.The results showed different problems faced by weaver’s falls under low income level which shows that their income is not sufficient to meet with their familyexpensesSo,theyaregoingforothersourceofincome.Lack of finance is one of the difficulties faced by the handloom weavers in marketingtheirproducts.Itissuggested that policies for financial support may be initiated by government for ensuring living hood security.
