The present study, undertaken at Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory, Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, during year 2004-2008 describes in vitro studies on the effect of different genotypes, explants and phytohormones for callusing and somatic embryogenesis via callus using cotyledon and hypocotyl explants from ten different genotypes of okra.
