Uttar Pradesh lies at the heart of the nation with an ideal climate to grow export quality mangoes. A large number of fresh mango exporters therefore are from the state of Uttrar Pradesh. The purpose of this study is to identify the exporter’s problems with respect to exchange rate issues and tariff barriersand look into the recent policy changes which have affected the market and trade of fresh mangoes. We will also look into the trend of fresh mango exports over the last 10 years. The data was collected from 25exporters in Varanasi region via random sampling. The study shows the frequency of problems faced by each exporter and the change in trends of various top importing nations based on recent domestic and global policy changes.It was found that constrains inhibiting the most exporters are Inspection certificates, uncertinty in exchange rate and lack of investment.ennullThesis
