The present case discuss about the surgical management of post coital paraphimosis in a Chippiparai Dog. An eleven month old male Chippiparai dog weighing around 20kg was brought to the Veterinary Clinical Complex, Tirunelveli with the history of protruding penis after  rst mating for the past  ve hours. Clinical examination revealed penis protruding out of the preputial sheath beyond bulbous part of penis. The penis was edematous and hyperemic. Cold compression followed by surgical management with four cornered stay sutures was done to reduce and replace the penis into the preputial cavity. The dog recovered uneventfully with no recurrence with routine post operative care.enVeterinary SciencePost Coital Paraphimosis in a Chippiparai DogIndian Veterinary JournalArticle
