PatelPrasad Chandrakant Chandrabhushan2017-05-292017-05-292010http://krishikosh.egranth.ac.in/handle/1/5810012940The present investigation entitled “Effect of varieties and planting materials on growth, yield and quality of turmeric (Curcuma longa L)” under middle Gujarat climatic conditions was carried out at the Horticultural Research-cum-Demonstration Farm, Department of Horticulture, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand, during the year 2009-2010. The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Block Design Factorial with six treatment combinations and four replications. The treatments comprised two varieties (Sugandham and Local cultivars), with their three planting materials used as (Mother Rhizome, Finger Rhizome & Mother + Finger Rhizome 50:50) and also the interaction effect of these two levels were measured.
