Soybean production has not only gained vital importance in Indian agriculture, but also played an important role in oil economy of India as it contributes more than 10% of total foreign revenue. Among the factors responsible for low yield of soybean, weeds have been considered of prime importance. Manual weeding, inter culturing or application of recommended pre-emergence herbicide is difficult in rainy season for efficient weed management.
