The estimates of variability, correlation coefficient and direct and indirect effects of different characters contributing towards the cured leaf yield in different tobacco genotypes are of great value to breeders in making effective selection for yield and other quality characters. The present investigation was carried out with 40 genotypes of rustica tobacco in randomized complete block design with three replications at Bidi Tobacco Research Station, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during rabi 2012-2013.
