Among the tested lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria for their antagonistic activity, the cell free supernatant of L4 acidophi/us and L. delbrueckii ssp. helveticus inhibited the growth of tested C. jejuni isolates in vitro where as Lactobac/I/us delbrueckii ssp. bulgaricus, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Bifidobacterium Iongum failed to show any inhibition to the tested isolates.enVeterinary ScienceArticle
