The fruit rot caused by Alternaria alternata, which adversely affect the fruit quality, quantity and ultimately reduce the market value. Considering the high economic damage and frequent occurrence of fruit rot caused by A. alternata in field, during transit, storage and marketing, the detail study was carried out on Alternaria fruit rot of tomato (A. alternata).
