HadiyaChauhan Jaykumar2021-06-072021-06-072019https://krishikosh.egranth.ac.in/handle/1/5810169663The present study was conducted under field on >90 days postpartum cows with cystic ovaries (n=58) confirmed by history and trans-rectal palpation & ultrasonographic examinations twice at weekly interval using linear array transducer with 5.0-7.5 MHz frequency. The findings were later confirmed with plasma progesterone, together with estradiol and cortisol, assays using RIA techniques. The main objectives were to differentially diagnose the COD cases clinically with use of ultrasound, per rectal palpation as well as endocrine profile, and to study comparative efficacy of four treatment protocols through plasma endocrine profile and conception rates. The details of the age, parity, clinical signs, rectal palpation findings, sonographic findings and breeding history of each case were recorded.EnglishThesis
