Therefore multiple researches are going on with the goal of supporting multimedia communications with efficient Quality of Service (QoS) for different wireless applications. The mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is nothing but the wireless connection of mobile nodes which provides the communication and mobility among wireless nodes without the need of any physical infrastructure or centralized devices such as access point or base station. The communications in MANET is done by routing protocols. There are different categories of routing protocols introduced with different goals and objectives for MANETs such as proactive routing protocols (e.g. DSDV), reactive routing protocols (e.g. ADOV), geographic routing protocols (e.g. GRP), hybrid routing protocols etc. There are two important research problems in such routing protocols to address such as efficient load balancing and energy efficiency. Inefficient load balancing technique resulted into increasing routing overhead, poor packet delivery ratio and other parameters. there are number of different methods proposed for improving the performance of routing protocols by efficient load balancing among mobile nodes communication, however most of methods suffered from various limitations. The recent load balancing techniques delivering better QoS solutions, but performing very poor in energy efficiency by consuming excessive energy while load balancing and communication. For MANET, in some applications like military communications, mobility of nodes is frequently changing due to which communication paths are frequently updating every time, which leads to excessive energy consumption of nodes. Mobile nodes battery lifetime is important part for MANET which decides the overall network lifetime. Hence it is required to design energy efficient load balancing routing protocol for MANET with goals of improving throughput as well as energy efficiency. This research work is contributing to the novel routing method for energy efficiency as well as Load balancing. The proposed approach was introduced to achieve both load balancing and energy efficiency simultaneously for mobile ad hoc networks. This new protocol named as ESM-TBLEP protocol. ESM-TBLEP is proposed with aim of providing supports QoS guarantee and extended network lifetime concurrently. ESM-TBLEP is having two main characteristics like method of link estimation proposed for energy efficiency improvement and another is learning of load balancing in order to achieve the improved QoS solutions. ii This two contribution points are combined together in order to achieve both energy efficiency and improved the performance. The practical simulation of this proposed method is done using NS2 software.ennullLoad Aware and Energy Efficient Approach to Improve Network Connectivity in MANETThesis
