The soil of the experimental plot was loamy sand in texture and having a good drainage. The soils was low in organic matter and available nitrogen, medium in available phosphorous and high in potassium. The experiment comprised of combinations of four irrigation schedules based on IW:CPE ratios viz., I1: (0.4 IW:CPE ratio); I2: (0.6 IW:CPE ratio); I3: (0.8 IW:CPE ratio) and I4 (Flood irrigation- one month interval between two irrigation) and four herbicidal weed control treatments viz., W1: hand weeding at 20 and 40 DAS; W2 : unweeded control;enAgronomyStudyINFLUENCE OF IRRIGATION SCHEDULES BASED ON IW:CPE RATIOS AND HERBICIDAL WEED CONTROL IN ISABGUL (Plantago ovata Forsk.)
