The parents were of species Gossypium hirsutum L. (H-51-3) and G. barbadense (SUVIN and S.I.L.S-9). Two rows each of P1, P2 and check four each of F1, BC1 and BC2 and six rows of F2 were planted in compact family block design.enPLANT BREEDING AND GENETICS, AGRICULTUREA STUDYINHERITANCE OF QUANTITATIVE CHARACTERS IN Gossypium hirsutum L. x G. barbadense L.
