Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design with 10 treatments replicated thrice. The treatments comprises of either 100% recommended dose of N:P:K:ZnSo4 (RDF) @80:40:40:25 kgha-1 or 75 % RDN @ 60:40:40:25 kg ha-1 or 50 % RDN and ZnSo4 @ 40:40:40:12.5 kg ha-1 along with combinations of nano urea @ 4 ml/liter at 30 and 45 DAS and nano Zinc @ 2 ml/liter at 30 DAS. The results of the present investigation revealed the following traits viz., the maximum plant height at harvest (201.41cm), number of branches at harvest (Primary 8.2; Secondary 10.4; Tertiary 4.3), Dry matter accumulated at harvest (46.38 g per plant), LAI at 90 DAS was around (4.46), grain and straw yield of 18,564 kgha-1 and 45,686 kgha-1 respectively. As a result number of siliqua/plant obtained was (268.85), oil content was (41.64 %) and oil yield was (773.01 kgha-1). The high number of siliqua and oil yield obtained was due to the fact of high dry matter accumulation as well as high LAI. In the following experiment the maximum yield obtained was in the treatment T10-100% RDN and ZnSO4 @ 25 kg ha-1 +1st spray of nano urea and nano Zn at 30 DAS + 2nd spray of nano urea only at 45 DAS; The operations were done as per requirement and time thus produced high yield. Low Erucic acid (<2%) content was found in oil extracted, hence it is good for edible purposeEnglishEffect of foliar application of nano urea and nano zinc on growth, quality and productivity of Indian mustard [Brassica juncea (L.)]Thesis
