The suitability of the sheep kidney epithelial cells for viral multiplication was this assessed. The study of CPE on the monolayer using 1/10 dilution of the virus revealed the earliest discernible CPE at 8th hour and the complete disintegration of cells was by 96th hour post inoculation. The first release of virus in this cell system was recorded as 3½ hours. The TCID 50 of the virus at 120th hour post-inoculation was computed as 10^5.5 and EID 50 of the same which was 10^5.83.en-USNewcastle Disease VirusSheep kidney monolayersStudies on the Growth of Newcastle Disease Virus (F Strain) on Sheep Kidney MonolayersCheiron Vol.10 Iss.02 Pg.058-062Article
