The fruit quality deteriorated with decrease in plant spacing. The time taken for ripening of fruits decreased with increase in spacing, while shelf-life remained unaffected. However, the spacing 1.75 x 1.75 m was found optimum for all the characters studied.ennullEffect of spacing on biomass production, dry matter partitioning, yield and fruit quality in tissue culture banana (musa) [aab] nendranArticle
