Out of ten bacterial isolates from rhizospheric and non rhizospheric soil of chilli, only one P 13 was found to be the best for phosphate solubilization producing organic acids and enzymes. It was characterized using various parameters like morphological, biochemical, physiological etc. and was found to be Pseudomonas sp. as per Bergey’s manual. Its efficacy for growth enhancement of chilli (Capsicum annuum L.) was investigated through lab and pot studiesenagriculture. microbiologystudyIsolation, characterization and efficacy of native phosphate solubilizing bacteria in chilli(Capsicum annuumL.)Thesis
