The Ministry of Agriculture, as part of KAPAP, intends to establish four Agro - Food Parks (AFP) with agro-processing facilities and marketing infrastructures to assist Value Chain operators to achieve economies of scale and market reach. As a step towards this end, the Ministry, utilizing a portion of the KAPAP loan, has recruited a consortium of international and Kenyan consultancy firms - Voyants Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Global Agri-systems and Otieno Odongo Partners. The Consortium will work with the national project team in the agribusiness component to provide technical services for the establishment of the AFPs.
