It is a contagious bacterial disease of domesticated and wild avian species caused by infection with Pasteurella multocida. In the present study was undertaken to isolate and identify Pasteurella multocida type-A from an outbreaks of native chicken. There was more than 60% mortality in the present outbreaks.
