The present study has been conducted with the purpose to examine the awareness, problems faced by the beneficiaries and their satisfaction in respect to the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. The study was conducted at Sarkaghat and Dharampur block of district Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The data has been collected from 90 households (HH’s) with the help of a structured questionnaire using a convenient sampling technique. The findings reveal that only 6.7 per cent of the beneficiaries fully understand the scheme, others only have the basic knowledge about the scheme which reflects low awareness among the respondents; utilisation of the scheme was very low (22 per cent), beneficiaries are not fully satisfied from the AB PM-JAY. The study suggests that detailed information about the scheme must be provided to the beneficiaries of the scheme, conduct awareness drives so that more people can connect to the scheme, and conduct a social audit to know whether the scheme has achieved its objective or notEnglishEVALUATION OF AYUSHMAN BHARAT PRADHAN MANTRI JAN AROGYA YOJANAThesis
