Abstract
A field experiment was conducted during kharif season of the
year 2010 at Main Rice Research Station, Anand Agricultural
University, Nawagam, Gujarat to study “Comparative study on Weed
management in Rice (Oryza sativa L.) under SRI (System of Rice
Intensification)”. The soil of the experimental field was silty clay
loam soil in texture, medium in available nitrogen (254.34 kg ha-1),
available phosphorus (35.84 kg ha-1) and high in potassium (316.35
kg ha-1) with slightly alkaline (pH 7.9) in reaction.
