Abstract
A labrador dog was brought for treatment and on rectal examination revealed prostate enlargement. Prostate fluid was collected and smear was stained using Leishman's stain. Cytology revealed polygonal hyperplastic epithelial cells with abundant basophilic cytoplasm and was diagnosed as a case of benign hyperplasia of the prostate gland.
