Nutrient stoichiometry suggests that plant C,N,P and K ratios respond to changes in the C:N:P:Kstoichiometry and its availability. Here, the experiment was conducted in research farm of RGSC,BHU Mirzapur. The experiment was conducted in two plots in agri-horti system and in the sole cropping field. The uniform application of nutrients FYM (7,10,13) tonnes ha-1and N (0, 60, 90, 120) Kg ha-1was applied on it. Its yield and nutrient stoichiometry was observed. The highest yield of pearl millet crop was obtained with the application of nitrogen 120 N kg ha-1and FYM level 13 t FYM ha-1 from agri-horti system. The highest net returns (Rs 36092.72 ha-1) and B:C(5.52 %) was obtained with theapplication of nitrogen 120 kg N ha-1from agri-horti system. The growth of pearl millet was co-limited by C:N, C:P, and P:K ratio with the application of F0N0from open field and agri-horti system. It has broaden the essentiality of nutrient stoichiometry in plant growth. The nutrient stoichiometry of crops has implications for both decomposers and consumers, and stoichiometric concepts might be of interest in fertiliser management and modelling.Variability in nutrients stoichiometry related to plant storage products, however, restricts in its application.en_US
