Abstract
The qualitative and biometric characteristics of indigenous Peruvidai chicken were recorded from a Peruvidai chicken breeding farm at Ambur, Vellore district. A total of 20 males and 20 females at the age of 44 weeks and above were used for phenotypic characterization and body measurements. The skin colour was white in all the birds (100%) of both the sexes.
