T The study entitled “Studies on the effect of natural farming practices on productivity, nutrient uptake and economics of pea (Pisum sativum L.)” was carried out at model farm, SPNF block in year 2021-22, Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design on pea cv. PB-89 with intercrops like coriander cv. Solan Selection and spinach cv. All Green consisting of 10 treatments and 3 replications viz., T1 (0.5t/ha Ghanjeevamrit + Jeevamrit @10%), T2 (0.5 t/ha Ghanjeevamrit + Jeevamrit @20%), T3 (0.5 t/ha Ghanjeevamrit + Jeevamrit @30%), T4 (1.0 t/ha Ghanjeevamrit + Jeevamrit @10%), T5 (1.0 t/ha Ghanjeevamrit + Jeevamrit @20%), T6 (1.0 t/ha Ghanjeevamrit + Jeevamrit @30%), T7 (1.5 t/ha Ghanjeevamrit + Jeevamrit @10%), T8 (1.5 t/ha Ghanjeevamrit + Jeevamrit @20%), T9 (1.5 t/ha Ghanjeevamrit + Jeevamrit @30%) and T10 (Absolute control). The results of investigation revealed that the application of different formulations not only significantly increased the growth, yield and quality parameters of pea but also increased soil macro nutrients. The increase in soil and growth parameters by the treatment T9 (1.5 t/ha Ghanjeevamrit + Jeevamrit @30%) was followed by T8 (1.5 t/ha Ghanjeevamrit + Jeevamrit @20%) whereas maximum B:C ratio was recorded under treatment T8 (1.5 t/ha Ghanjeevamrit + Jeevamrit @20%). Application of 1.5 t/ha Ghanjeevamrit + Jeevamrit @20% @ 14 days intervals + (six foliar applications of Jeevamrit) JM may be recommended as most effective nutrient module for pea cultivation and sustaining soil health.en_US
