Abstract
The study was conducted on data pertaining to growth in terms of body
weight upto 6 months of age, reproductive traits and survivability of kids during 0-3
and 3-6 months of age under extensive(village condition) and semi intensive (farm
condition) with the following objective:
1. 1. To study the pattern of growth, reproduction and survivability of Black
Bengal goats under farm and village conditions of management.
2. To study the effect of sex, parity and season of birth on important economic
traits.
3. To develop strategy for breeding males and females
