Abstract
The present investigation on “Effect of integrated nutrient management on growth, yield, quality of tuber and nutrient uptake by plants in potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) cv. Kufri Lauvkar under middle Gujarat agroclimatic conditions” was carried out to study during rabi season of 2010-11 at the Horticultural Research Farm, Department of Horticulture, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand. The study was conducted to find out the best combination of different sources of organic manures (FYM, vermicompost, castor cake and biofertilizers i.e. azospirillum & phosphobacterium) and inorganic fertilizers as well as the nutrient uptake from soil. The soil of experimental area was loamy sand in texture, medium available of nitrogen and phosphorus, high in potash and low in O.C. content with pH 8.09. There were all together twelve treatment combinations comprising. Field experiment was laid out in randomized block design with three replications.
