Abstract
Experiments were carried out on “Population dynamics, varietal screening and management of sucking pest complex of green gram [Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek]” at Instuctional Farm, College of Agriculture, JAU, Junagadh during summer 2021. Population dynamics of thrips revealed that the population of thrips (0.23 thrips /3 leaves) was appeared from the 1 st WAS i.e. 1st week of March and increased gradually and reached at peak level of 8.07 thrips /3 leaves during the 6th WAS coinciding with second week of April. The correlation matrix of thrips population with weather parameters has exhibited the significant positive correlation with maximum temperature (r = 0.675*) and wind speed (r = 0.734*). The jassid population was commenced from the 1st WAS i.e. the first week of March with 0.17 jassid /3 leaves. The population of the pest was increased fast from the 3rd to 5th WAS and reached at p
