Abstract
The world pesticide industry is dominated by nine multinational basic
producers from United State and Western Europe and they account for
nearly one half of the total output. The world pesticide industry market
size is about $31,756 Million.
The project was taken in USA based company Chemtura Agrosolutions.
The company is mainly engaged in agro chemical production and it
produces wide range of Pesticides, Fungicides & Miticides. Chemtura
Agrosolutions is the world’s market leader in miticides. Chemtura
Agrosolutions entered in India in 2009. The company produces 67
products and sells them in the Indian market.
This study was done in Maval, Ambegaon & Junnar Tahsils of Pune
