    The Present study experimentally investigated the seasonal incidence and management of the okra flea beetle. Regarding the seasonal incidence, data on the mean number of shot holes per five plants were recorded at weekly intervals. On tracking the incidence, it was found that the 32nd SMW recorded the peak incidence.

    The results of the present investigation entitled, "Varietal preference and effect of spacing on incidence of blue beetle, Leptispa pygmaea Baly, (Coleoptera:Chrysomelidae) infesting rice revealed that the overall mean per cent infestation of blue beetle on different rice varieties during the season showed significant differences and it was ranged from 1.36 to 16.80. "
