Influence of Egg Size and Shell Colour on Hatchability

Abstract
The influence of egg size and shell colour on hatchability parameters of New Hampshire eggs was studied. The results revealed that the eggs weighing 56-60 g showed higher rate of fertility and hatchability. Medium brown eggs had exhibited higher rate of fertility; whereas light brown eggs had recorded better hatchability, with proportionately lower embryonic mortality.
