Abstract
Indian Council of Agricultural Research awarded the animal breed registration certificate for registration of Chevaadu sheep as a breed. The Certificate was issued to TANUVAS by Hon'ble Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary (DARE) and Director General (ICAR) to Dr.T.Ravimurugan, Faculty of TANUVAS in the presence of Dr. S. Thilagar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, TANUVAS, Dr. H. Rahman, Deputy Director General (Animal Science), Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore, Deputy Director General (Education), Dr. Arjuva Sharma, Director NBAGR, Karnal and Dr.T.J.Harikrishnan, Director of Research, TANUVAS.
