Abstract
Komarov strain of NDV was passaged serially eight times in primary pig kidney cell cultures. CPE was mainly rounding and necrosis of cells. Syncytia, vacuolation in cytoplasm and cytoplasmic processes as part of CPE could be observed while inclusions were not detectable. At the seventh passage level TCID 50 / 0.1 ml and EID 50 / 0.1 ml. were 10^5.9 and 10^5.8 respectively.
