Abstract
Methanol precipitated Newcastle disease (ND) virus (LasSotastrain) was used for coating enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) plates. Ninety six sera samples were screened for antibody level against Newcastle Disease (ND) by ELISA and haemagglutination inhibition (HI) test. There was a general correlation between the tests but no direct correlation. More sensitive ELISA did not provide more information than, the haemagglutination inhibition (HI) test.
