Abstract
The excreta output of feed ingredients in chicken were influenced by crude fibre and ash content of the feed. Sand and Silica did not influence the per cent dry matter of excreta output of different feed ingredients. So the level of crude fibre and ash affected the digestibility of feed ingredients. It may be attributed that rapid passage of the feed in the gastrointestinal tract reduce the enzyme activity over the feed and reduced the absorption of nutrients.
