Abstract
The broiler industry in India has grown in the last decade at the phenomenal annual growth rate of 17 to 18 per cent. The contribution of poultry sector to the National GDP is nearly one per cent with an output of 10 billion rupees from poultry sector and this growth rate had been achieved with meager investment from the government side.
