Abstract
The present investigationtitled “Impact of integrated nutrient management on growth, yield and quality parameters of papaya (Carica papaya L.) cv. Red Lady under net houseˮwas conducted during the year 2018-2019at COE for PCPF, College ofAgriculture, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G.).Thisinvestigation was laid out with three replications and ten treatments in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD).The treatment comprises of ten various combinations of organic manure and biofertilizers together with the recommended fertilizer dose. i.e. T0: RDF as(Control), T1: RDF + 20 kg FYM/plant, T2: RDF + 10 kg Vermi-compost /plant,T3: RDF + 5 kg Neem Cake /plant, T4: RDF +20 kg FYM/plant+ 100 g Azotobacter + 100g PSB /plant, T5: RDF +10 kg Vermi-compost +100 g Azotobacter + 100g PSB /plant, T6: RDF + 5 kg Neem cake +100 g Azotobacter + 100 g PSB/Plant, T7: 75% RDF + 20 kg FYM /plant +100 g Azatobacter + 100 g PSB /plant, T8: 75% RDF + 10 kg Vermi-compost +100 g Azatobacter +100 g PSB/plant, T9 : 75% RDF + 5 kg Neem Cake +100 g Azotobacter +100 g PSB /Plant. Result revealed that T8: 75% RDF + 10 kg Vermi-compost +100 g Azatobacter +100 g PSB/plant shows higher vegetative growth (plant height, plant spread, plant girth number of leaves, petiole length) whereas minimum vegetative growth was recorded in T0: RDF + control. Earliest flowering and fruiting were exhibited by T8: 75% RDF + 10 kg Vermi-compost +100 g Azatobacter +100 g PSB/plant whereas T0: RDF + control was late in flowering and fruiting. Similarly, maximum number of fruits, fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit volume, pulp weight, yield (71.32kg) per plant was noticed under the same treatment. The quality parameter of fruits like maximum total soluble solid, reducing sugar, non- reducing sugar,total sugar, ascorbic acid and minimum acidity was recorded in T8: 75% RDF + 10 kg Vermi-compost +100 g Azatobacter +100 g PSB/plant. Highest Benefit: Cost ratio (2.06) was recorded under the treatment T7: 75% RDF + 20 kg FYM /plant +100 g Azatobacter + 100 g PSB / plant.
